Middlebury Squash Facility

Court Reservations

The Middlebury College squash center officially opened on October 26, 2013. The 18,000-square-foot building replaces the five courts formerly located in the now-defunct Bubble and gives the college community a modern structure dedicated to the sport. In September of 2014, the facility qualified for LEED platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council, the highest honor awarded by the organization.

Visitors are able to see into all nine courts from the center concourse, with seating for hundreds of spectators. The expansiveness of the space will allow Middlebury to host more home matches and tournaments. The facility also includes its own fitness room and restrooms.

Connected to the southeast end of the Peterson Family Athletics Complex, the nine squash courts are arranged around a central corridor covered by a skylight to allow filtered, natural light into the space and provide the building with a distinctive architectural element.

A beautiful tile lobby provides an entrance to the athletics complex as well as a great view of Kohn Field.
